32nd Annual Golf Tournament

Tee Times: 8 AM & 1:30 PM
Player registration includes lunch, snacks and beverages, green fees, golf carts, and a registration gift. The course is located at 12541 Derricks Creek Rd, Charleston, WV 25320, just off the Pocatalico exit (114) of I-77.
Sponsorship opportunities range from $500 to $15,000, providing valuable visibility throughout the event. Your charitable support helps the WVU Medicine Thomas Foundation advance the mission of WVU Medicine Thomas Hospitals by supporting essential equipment, programs, and services, as well as future growth and innovation. Together, we are able to provide care, hope, and compassion to patients and families across southern West Virginia—making a lasting impact in our community.

Location: Edgewood Country Club, 12541 Derricks Creek Road, Charleston, WV 25320
Date: May 15, 2026
Time: We will host two flights – one in the morning beginning at 8:00 a.m. and one in the afternoon beginning at 1:30 p.m. Lunch will be available from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. for all golfers.
Registration:
Morning registration will begin at 7:00 a.m.; afternoon registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. If you arrive early, feel free to purchase raffle tickets and mulligans, browse the silent auction items, or head to the driving range or putting green. Coffee and breakfast will be provided in the morning and lunch is provided for all participants from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
On the Course:
Both flights will be a shotgun start, starting at 8:00 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Lunch will be served as the morning teams are exiting the course and the afternoon teams are
heading out to begin play. More information on lunch is below. Beverage carts will be circling the course throughout the day with complimentary
beverages and snacks. The raffle and silent auction will close at 3 p.m. and be available near the Pro Shop.
Lunch:
Lunch will be served at the clubhouse from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Boxed lunches are provided so players can grab & go!
Awards and Contests:
Contests and prizes will be listed in the event program. Be sure to check the scoreboard to see if your team won!
Tournament Highlights:
Hole #1 – Each player receives a custom golf towel and golf belt from Red Rooster courtesy of the Thomas Family Pharmacy.
Hole #2 – Closest to the pin sponsored by Elco Mechanical Contractors (male and female winners).
Hole #5 (495 yard par 5) – Roll a die to boost your score! $10 per roll.
Hole #9 – Spin the wheel for prizes at our Hole of Fortune!
Hole #10 – Snap a team photo of your foursome, sponsored by Appalachian Medical and Boone Memorial Health.
Hole #15 – Longest drive sponsored by Elco Mechanical Contractors (male and female winners)
Hole #18 – Hit the Chick-Fil-A cow ($10 per attempt, limit 2) and win Chick-Fil-A for a year!
Raffle & Silent Auction:
Browse the raffle and silent auction tables near the clubhouse for your chance to win exciting items. Raffle tickets are $10 each – bring cash if possible. Ticket sales and silent auction bids will close at 3:00 p.m. You do not need to be present to win! Please let us know as soon as possible if you have any changes to your foursome. If your team has not submitted player names, please submit them as soon as possible.
