Thomas Health & Thomas Health Foundation Improves Patient Care with New Premium Ultrasound System
South Charleston, WV– Patients of Thomas Health Diagnostic Center in Springhill now have access to advanced ultrasound exams with Canon Medical Systems’ new AplioTM i700 system, thanks to the support of the Thomas Health Foundation and its generous donors. The Aplio i700 delivers outstanding imaging that allows physicians to see more and make confident diagnoses while also offering patients quick, safe, and minimally invasive exams.
“Our number one priority is providing our patients with the highest quality healthcare, which means we continually strive to offer the best imaging technologies available,” said Dan Lauffer, President, and CEO, Thomas Health. “The installation of the Aplio i700 will help us deliver on these promises. The system’s superior image resolution and intuitive ergonomics will enable us to expand our use of diagnostic ultrasound and safely and efficiently treat more patients.”
The Aplio i700 features Canon Medical Systems’ advanced ultrasound capabilities, like iPerformance technologies, that deliver extreme processing power and allow healthcare providers to see more. The system also provides intuitive ergonomics with iSense to boost productivity during daily routine and complex exams.
